There is this great candy story in Carpenteria California that has so many different kinds of candy to enjoy. They have everything you can think of in candy, and they have things that my Mom and grandmother liked when they were kids. They also have the stuff kids my age love, and they also have special no sugar candy that is pretty good.

They have a glass window where you can watch people in the candy kitchen making all kinds of good things to eat. Mr. Robitaille and his wife have been making candy a long time. Their family started the business in Santa Barbara, and the Robitaille mints were created for a special party when Ronald Reagan became President of the United States. These mints are still there and they come in different colors.

Ice cream is also sold at the candy store, and it is really good with chocolate candies. For all the holidays they make special candy, and when I was there they had pumpkins and lots of Halloween treats. This is a great place for families to visit, and buy really good candy. They are on Linden Street in Carpenteria, California. I hope you like this place as much as I do.

Thanks for reading Kids Kaleidoscope, and next month I will have fun holiday news for you.

The Berenstain Bears and the Spooky Old Tree is a fun new game by Namco that you can play on your Game Boy Advance. This one is really good! To buy this one go to www.namco.com.
