Category: Entrees
Serves: 4

Ingredients:

For the sauce:
1 shallot, finely chopped
3/4 cup dry white wine
1/2 pkg. (3 oz.) Alouette® Reserve™ Original Spreadable Cheese
3 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 heaping tbsp. fresh thyme leaves, or 1 level tsp. dried thyme
Salt
Freshly ground pepper

For the pork chops:
4 thin-cut pork chops
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
Directions:
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.

In a 12-inch skillet, heat vegetable oil over high. As the oil starts to smoke add pork chops and cook about 4 minutes per side, until no longer pink in the middle. Set aside pork chops to rest while you make the sauce.

Reduce heat under pan to medium. Add chopped shallot and sauté for a minute to soften. Add white wine and let evaporate for a minute. Then add Alouette® Reserve™ Original Spreadable Cheese, mustard and thyme. Whisk together until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spoon the sauce over the pork chops and serve.
